Mask Up: West St. Paul Encourages Masks

The West St. Paul City Council passed a resolution encouraging mask wearing earlier this week. As we’re still in the grip of the highly contagious omicron variant of COVID-19, we echo that encouragement.

Please wear a mask any time you’re in public spaces with other people. A high-filtration mask is the best option, followed by a surgical mask, and then cloth masks. Doubling up cloth masks and/or surgical masks can provide added protection. Always ensure a snug fit for the most efficient protection.

You should also get vaccinated and boosted to minimize the severity of any potential illness.
