Working hard can make you hungry. So what’s nearby? Evolve Workplace is close to it all. Anybody can Google McDonald’s, but here’s a list of recommended local restaurants so you can fuel up and get back to the job.

Restaurant Recommendations Close to Evolve

Whether it’s a morning pick-me-up, a break for lunch, or hashing out a deal at a sit-down restaurant, we’ve got options. Here’s our list of restaurant recommendations within 10 minutes of Evolve Workplace.

Start With Breakfast

Sure, there’s Dunkin’ and the other chains, but go local with Joseph’s Coffee and Donuts just north on Oakdale, Panaderia Los Castillos for Mexican bakery goods, or get local coffee and sweet or savory treats at Amore Coffee in West St. Paul (where we get our coffee!) or Black Sheep Coffee in South St. Paul.

Local Lunch

What’s a quick stop for lunch that’s not your standard fast food drive thru?

Sit-Down Restaurants

Sometimes you need a longer break or a place to meet clients. There are downtown options, but there are closer alternatives as well. Try 5-8 for juicy lucys, Fireside for classic American fare, FoodSmith for award-winning pub food, Boca Chica for that lunch buffet, B-52s for the standard burger and brew, BLVD Tavern for a sports bar, Angelo’s Italian Restaurant for relaxed Italian, Stockyard Tavern & Chophouse or Copperfield for a little upscale, or Holman’s Table or Crasqui for a lot upscale.

Drink After Work

Long day? There are plenty of options to get a drink after work. Many of the sit-down restaurants have bars, or hit up a classic bar—Tapper’s Pub, Bugg’s Bar, North 40 Tavern, Shadey’s Bar, Al’s Corral Bar, Gallagher’s Bar, and the Croatian Hall—or a brewery with Wabasha Brewing Company. And if you need something non-alcoholic, there’s Tii Cup for boba tea or Micho Love for Mexican-inspired shakes and ice cream treats.

Close to it All

Evolve Workplace is just 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul, but you don’t have to go that far to eat. There are a wealth of food options nearby on the West Side, here in West St. Paul, or in super close South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, or Mendota Heights.
