Explore West St. Paul Days

A local community celebration is coming to our backyard in August. Explore West St. Paul Days is a series of local city events highlighting West St. Paul. Almost everything is free, so it’s a great chance to explore the local community around Evolve Workplace.

Here’s a rundown of the events:

Thursday, August 11

  • 5-8 p.m. – City Open House: Just down the street at city hall (1650 Humboldt Ave.) there’s an opportunity to connect with city departments and local organizations, enjoy free food and music, and see police and fire demonstrations.

  • ~9:15 p.m. – Fireworks: Later that night there will be a local fireworks show at Harmon Park.

Friday, August 12

  • 6 p.m. – Parade: The city’s first parade since 2019 will run along Charlton Street.

  • ~8 p.m. – Movie in the Dome: After the parade you can enjoy a movie in the West St. Paul Sports Dome (the giant white dome on the other side of Robert Street). The community voted and selected The Goonies.

Saturday, August 13

  • 8:30 a.m. – West St. Paul Rider: A community bike ride that starts at Garlough Park and winds along the River-to-River Greenway trail across from Evolve

  • 2-5 p.m. - Parking Lot Giveaway: St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church is having a giant rummage sale where everything is free.

  • 2-7 p.m. - Free Washes & Raffles: Clothesline Laundromat and El Destino Market, just down the road and around the corner from Evolve, will be having a party with free washes, raffles, food specials, and more.
